| TeamTech works with state and local government to tear down barriers and link systems so people experience services as less bureaucratic and more efficient.
For more than ten years, TeamTech has been bringing its expertise to bear in the arena of government efficiency. Since 2002, Teamtech has worked with state officials and county government to use collaboration and problem solving processes to help government save millions of dollars while improving services for taxpayers. BEST Thinking Shortly after her election in 2002, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius turned to TeamTech for help in facilitating a group of leaders and citizens from around the state to identify ways to improve collaboration and resource sharing across state and local government. The Budget Efficiency Savings Teams (BEST) were charged with identifying potential dollar savings and coming up with innovative ways of doing state business. In facilitating multiple BEST meetings, TeamTech helped ensure that decision makers worked across agencies to identify problems and solutions. As a result of the BEST process, the State of Kansas has implemented new and better ways of doing business at a savings of nearly $1 billion in taxpayer dollars. With the skills gained through the TeamTech process, state agency employees continue to work together to find creative ways to approach both short-term and long-range projects.
